Wouldn't you love to know forgivenss
for just ten minutes?
Right, ten minutes of feeling forgiven . . .wow, what a feeling of freedom that would be. If for just that small span of time I would get off my case, allow God to take my load and enjoy the total peace of His forgiveness.
It is clear that when we experience that kind of love and care . . . That's what all of us are searching for . . .peace in a world gone crazy. But, as ordinary women, we all know we're our worst enemies. We allow satan to whisper in our ears, "You're not good enough." "You're not forgiven." "Who are you kidding, you're going to do it again!" Then, without realizing it, we buy into those lies. Satan is a liar! Do you realize he 'hates you'? He hates you and what you are striving to be. Each time you let his lies stomp on your dreams, ruin your mood, or make you doubt God, he celebrates.

In one of my recent online workshops, my heart was touched deeply by the pain I could see in the words of one of my students. "I just don't feel forgiven, no matter what I do."
I don't know about you, but this struck a familiar cord with me. As I searched my heart for an answer for her, something to give her comfort and hope, I found myself typing in -- "Can you allow yourself to feel forgiven for just ten minutes today?" There was a pause. "Yes. I can do that for ten minutes," she responded.
"Great, then let's try ten minutes today. See how that feels. Then, maybe tomorrow you could try fifteen minutes." It was funny how the words just flowed out. God was at work here.
we won't want to let it go.
But what is it about 'truth'? It sets you free! Hold on to the truth. God is faithful. It doesn't matter how you 'feel' at a given moment. But it sure would make our lives a lot happier, if we would just begin to live like we are forgiven for 'just ten minutes' . . . then fifteen . . . then who knows? You might actually begin to enjoy life and start spreading the joy of being an
