Words matter, . . .
for they fill the air
with what we think
and for what we care.

You remember what a loved one says,
your heart yearns not to let it go.
For Words spoken through a heart so dear,
are the words that let us know . . .

That we are loved.
That someone cares.
Our lives do matter . . .
trials are not ours alone to bear.

When my heart is heavy
or in need of peace . . .
where do I turn
to cause tears to cease?

I go to a friend . . . who loves
and cares for me.
I always know just where He'll be.

The book He gave . . .
is filled with Words of love . . .
they come on soft breezes
and on wings of doves

They come in stormy winds
and the dark of night.
They come when I, for a moment, fear . . .
He is out of sight.

Stop. Wait on Him . . . . Listen.
You'll hear, there is no doubt.
Such love as you've never heard . . . ,
it might come in a 'shout' . . .

It might come as a whisper, . . .
a thought . . . or a tear.
But His Word is always there,
to assure you, with no doubt . . .
He's forever near.

Spend time with the Savior . . .
God's Book in your lap.
Your heart in His Words will. . .
forever be wrapped.
