If I could see tomorrow . . .
how would I live today?
It isn't ours to see, but it's written
in His book, not hidden far away.

Trying to live tomorrow . . .
takes away the joy within my heart.
The gifts I was given for today . . .
I wasted, never allowing them to start.

Dreaming of tomorrow . . .
there is no need for it to be in sight.
For knowing in whose hands it rests . . .
I can let go and live my life.

Tomorrow is what builds my faith.
It carries me through each day.
Fear and worry will not become the thieves
that cause me one day to say . . .

I did not really live my life . . .
there were so many cares and sorrows.
My moments, hours, and my days . . .
were spent worrying about tomorrow!

Each day I do not worry . . .
each moment I do not fear,
My faith in God blossoms
into a friendship oh so dear.

As I notice that He's with me,
That I'm loved with a heart so true,
each moment becomes a blessing
so beautiful, so new.

And Jesus said,

"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? .... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. ... Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
Matthew 6:25-34
