God Offers a Rose 
A single Rose was offered,
as a loving Father's Gift.
We, as Ordinary Women with an Extraordinary God,
have such difficulty accepting His freely given Gift.
Is there evidence of 'grace' in your life?
Only when we allow ourselves to accept this incredible gift,
can we truly live a life of freedom and joy.
My days were filled with endless search.
Life becoming more than I could face,
when I did not know the power of
Your gift of loving grace.
I had but to only reach my hand . . .
to take the Rose you gave.
The gift that washed me white as snow,
from all my shame and guilt . . . was saved.
You cared enough to give this Rose . . .
to take this woman's hand.
Your touch, Your heart so full of love,
I now could understand.
The beauty of a single Rose . . .
brings joy where tears had been.
You reached out to me and offered it . . .
taking in return . . . my sin.
As I look upon the Rose,
I see the face of grace.
You loved me so . . . you sent this Rose . . .
to humbly take my place.
"Oh, thank you Father for loving me so."
