I am the creation of a loving Heavenly Father.....
It is in the mirror of His heart that I must see myself.
Never did He make a clay vessel such as I . . .
for I am 'Custom-Made' for the tasks that are at hand.
Thoughtfully, He molded me...
He knew for what purposes He put me here....
at this time...in this place...with this life.
To question "why" is not for me....
the answer lies within the loving care He takes of me...
never leaving my side. Not for an instant.
Not for the blink of an eye.
If it wasn't that I was 'special' in my Father's heart...
Then I could wallow in my days...and spend my hours in tears.
His love fills this 'clay vessel' that He made
with His own powerful hands...
For I am 'Custom-Made' for all the things
He has planned for me . . .
Before He takes me home.
Custom-Made each one of us.
His artwork in this world.
To know the artist and His grace...
is my heart's fondest desire.
When I feel things are too much for me to bear....
He reminds me that I am 'Custom-Made' and
Lack nothing for this stay.
" . . . O Lord, You are our Father;Isaiah 64:8
We are the clay, and You our potter;
And all we are the work of Your hand."
If you're feeling as if your life is a mess, that it has spun out of control . . . I've been there. If you're feeling unworthy, I too walk that path. You see, until I was able to admit that I am an ordinary woman with an Extraordinary God, my life seemed so empty.
