Dear Lord, I pray that you might see
that I get through this holiday season with
one shread of my sanity!

I know my heart is in the right place,
but with 4 year old Billy and 5 year old Kate,
I'm not sure that there's just not
too much on my plate!

When it comes to our greetings,
the ones sent each year...
there are just so many who
we hold so dear.
The holiday stress is upon me and
I find myself torn
between new-fangled 'clicking'...
or licking and sticking.

Do I go to the mall where I struggle to find
a parking spot, clerk and
a gift of some kind....
just the right color and just the right size?

Tell me,....what should I do?
Would that really be wise?

or..

Do I stay in my jammies and heat up my tea
sign onto the internet
just the PC and me?

Do it online?

and Fanny's patch bear,
in a place so untraditional....

So, it's not the North Pole,
that's not where they're from
but rather a place called something.com.

I refuse to feel guilty.
I won't... not at all.
For when Christmas gets closer
and my nerves used to fray....
I'll be relaxing just knowing my
gift's on the way.
