When life's overwhelming.
and I long for a peace, to be free. . .
There is only one place where I can turn . . .
toward 'Home' where He's waiting for me.

For it is at Home I'll find comfort . . .
A sense that I truly belong.
The place where I am completely loved
where angels sing their songs.

Each day, I'm moving closer . . .
to this place among the clouds . . .
Where My Father waits to hold me
And take me in His arms.

I can almost hear Him calling
my name softly in the breeze.
For He knows me and I'm part of His . . .
Heavenly Kingdom Family.

"Come Home," His voice says softly.
And I know there'll be a day . . .
When my questions will be answered,
and I will hear Him say . . .

"Come Home, my child, I'm waiting."
I will be so happy then . . .
That I chose to give my life to Him
and turn away from sin.

For had I not surrendered and
. . . let Him have my heart alone.
I would not hear the words one day . . .
"Come Home, my child . . . Come Home."

He took me as I was that day.
Not asking more than I could give.
I could not understand it, . . .
But I knew with Him I'd live.

It didn't matter what I was wearing, . . .
or what was in my bank account.
For He saw me through the eyes of Jesus.
As His Son died upon that mount.

"Come Home," His voice says softly.
And I know at His feet I'll be.
He will hear me say what's in my heart,
"Father, I'm finally home . . . it's me."

"If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him."
John 14:23

Every moment we breathe we have yet another opportunity to say, "Lord, I give you my heart and I want to one day come home. You don't have to clean up your act first . . . for once Jesus is in your heart, it will become clean. As white as snow.

There is no reason under heaven to wait another moment to make this decision for Christ.
It is as simple as a soft prayer . . .
"Father, come into my heart.
I ask You to make my heart Your home. Amen."
